Obligatory First Post
I am new to blogging. I've also been wary of it, suspecting it is only a new way to gaze at my navel and generally procrastinate. But as I seem to be doing that anyway on facebook, I thought I'd do it in a form that leaves a better 'journal' for my little girl to look back and read when she's older.

glad you did! intelligent, compassionate discussion combined with personal storytelling about parenting -- good book reviews -- this is great stuff. and it's nice to read blog posts that are well written, thoughtful, full length, not riddled with acronyms and the like.
